headlamp control. Anindicator onthecontrolwilllightto
indicate thatLDWison.
Ifyoudonotcarefully maintain yourvehicle
position withinthelane,vehicledamage,injury,
ordeathcouldoccur.EvenwithLDW,always
keepyourattention ontheroadandmaintain
propervehicleposition withinthelane.Always
keepthewindshield cleananddonotuseLDWin
badweatherconditions.
Whenthevehiclecrossesadetected lanemarking,the
LDWsymbolwillflashandyouwillhearthreebeeps.
LDWwillnotwarnyouiftheturnsignalisonorifyou
makeasharpmaneuver.Beforemakingalanechange,
checkthevehicle's mirrors, glanceoveryourshoulder
forvehicles andhazards, andstarttheturnsignal
beforechanging lanes.
Whenthevehicleisstarted, theLDWsymbol,located
intheinstrument panelcluster,willbrieflycomeonto
indicate thatthelightisoperational.
LDWonlyoperatesatspeedsof35mph(56km)or
greater.IfLDWisturnedonwhentraveling atthese
speeds,theLDWsymbolwillappeargreenifthe
systemdetectsaleftorrightlanemarking.
