HowwellACCwillworkonhillsandwhentowinga
trailerdependsonyourvehicle's speed,vehicleload,
trafficconditions andthesteepness ofthehills.Itmay
notdetectavehicleinyourlanewhiledrivingonhills.
Whengoingupsteephills,youmaywanttousethe
accelerator pedaltomaintainyourvehicle's speed.
Whengoingdownhill, especially whentowingatrailer,
youmaywanttobraketokeepyourspeeddown.
Applying thebrakedisengages thesystem.Youmay
choosenottouseACConsteephills,especially when
towingatrailer.
CleaningtheSystem
Theradarcanbecomeblockedbysnow,ice,ordirt.
Ifso,youmayneedtoturnofftheengineandcleanthe
lens.Remember,donotuseACCinicyconditions,
orwhenvisibility islow,suchasinfog,rainorsnow.
Theemblem/lens islocatedinthecenterofthegrille.
Tocleantheemblem/lens, wipethesurfacewithasoft
cloth.Aftercleaningtheemblem/lens, trytoengagethe
ACC.Ifyouareunabletodoso,seeyourdealer.
