Notice: Usingatooltoforcethekeytoturninthe
ignition couldcausedamagetotheswitchorbreak
thekey.Usethecorrectkey,makesureitisallthe
wayin,andturnitonlywithyourhand.Ifthekey
cannotbeturnedbyhand,seeyourdealer.
Theignition switchhasfourdifferent positions:
A(LOCK/OFF): Thisistheonlyposition inwhichthe
ignition keycanbeinsertedorremoved. Thisposition
lockstheignition andtransmission andsteering column.
Thesteering canbindwiththewheelsturnedoffcenter.
Ifthishappens, movethesteering wheelfromrightto
leftwhileturningthekeytoACC/ACCESSORY.Ifthis
doesn'twork,thevehicleneedsservice.
B(ACC/ACCESSORY): Thisposition letstheradio
andwindshield wipersoperatewhiletheengineisoff.
TouseACC/ACCESSORY,turnthekeyclockwise.
InordertoshiftoutofP(Park),ignition mustbeinthe
ON/RUNorACC/ACCESSORYandthebrakepedal
mustbeapplied.
