Iftheexterior lampbuttonhasbeenlefton,theexterior
lampswillturnoffabout10minutesaftertheignition
isturnedtoLOCK/OFFandadoorhasbeenopened.
Thisprotects againstdraining thebatteryifthe
headlamps orparkinglampsareaccidentally lefton.
Ifyouneedtoleavethelampsonformorethan
#
(FogLamps): Presstheexterior lampsbuttonto
turnthefoglampsonoroff.Alightcomesoninthe
instrument panelclusterwhenthefoglampsarein
use.SeeInstrument PanelCluster on page 446 .
Theignition mustbeintheON/RUNposition forthe
foglampstowork.

lampsbackonaftertheignition isturnedtoLOCK/OFF
andanydoorisopened.
Thefoglampswillgooffwhentheheadlamps are
changedtohigh-beam.
InstrumentPanelBrightness
Somelocalities havelawsthatrequiretheheadlamps to
beonalongwiththefoglamps.
D(Instrument PanelBrightness): Thisfeature
controls thebrightness oftheinstrument paneland
footwell lights,ifequipped.
CorneringLamps
Thebuttonforthiscontrolislocatedbelowtheexterior
lampscontrol.
Thecornering lampscomeonwhentheheadlamps
orparkinglampsareonandyousignalaturnwith
themultifunction lever.Theyprovidemorelightfor
cornering.
Pushthebuttoninandreleasetoextendthebutton.
Turnthebuttonclockwise orcounterclockwise to
brighten ordimthelights.
