Hereareafewsituations   thatmayoccurwiththefuel
gauge.Allofthesesituations   arenormalanddonot
indicate thatanything iswrongwiththefuelgauge:

thegaugeindicated.  Forexample, thegaugemay
haveindicated thatthetankwashalffull,butit
actually tookalittlemoreorlessthanhalfthe
tank'scapacity tofillthetank.
Thefuelgaugeshows
approximately howmuch
fuelisinthetank.Itworks
onlywhentheengine
ison.
