Cellular phoneusagemaycauseinterference
withthevehicle's radio.Thisinterference mayoccur
whenmakingorreceiving phonecalls,charging
thephone'sbattery,orsimplyhavingthephoneon.
Thisinterference causesanincreased levelofstatic
whilelistening totheradio.Ifstaticisreceived while
listening totheradio,unplugthecellular phoneand
turnitoff.
Notice: Donotapplyaftermarket glasstinting
withmetallic film.Themetallic filminsometinting
materials willinterfere withordistorttheincoming
radioreception. Anydamagecausedtoyour
backglass antennaduetometallic tintingmaterials
willnotbecoveredbythevehiclewarranty.
BackglassAntenna
TheAM-FMantennaisintegrated withtherearwindow
defogger,locatedintherearwindow.Makesurethatthe
insidesurfaceoftherearwindowisnotscratched and
thatthelinesontheglassarenotdamaged. Ifthe
insidesurfaceisdamaged, itcouldinterfere withradio
reception. Forproperradioreception, theantenna
connector needstobeproperly attached tothepost
ontheglass.
XM™SatelliteRadioAntenna
System
TheXMSatellite Radioantennaislocatedontheroofof
thevehicle. Keeptheantennaclearofobstructions for
clearradioreception.
Ifthevehiclehasasunroof, theperformance oftheXM
systemmaybeaffectedifthesunroofisopen.
Ifacellulartelephone antennaneedstobeattached to
theglass,makesurethatthegridlinesfortheAM-FM
antennaarenotdamaged.Thereisenoughspace
betweenthegridlinestoattachacellular telephone
antennawithoutinterfering withradioreception.
