HowtoAddCoolanttotheSurgeTank
Thevehiclemustbeonalevelsurfacewhenchecking
thecoolantlevel.

Checktoseeifcoolantisvisibleinthecoolantrecovery
tank.Ifthecoolantinsidethecoolantrecovery    tankis
boiling, donotdoanything  elseuntilitcoolsdown.
Ifcoolantisvisiblebutthecoolantlevelisnotator
abovetheFULLCOLDmark,adda50/50mixtureof
Youcanbeburnedifyouspillcoolantonhot
engineparts.Coolantcontainsethylene   glycol
anditwillburniftheenginepartsarehotenough.
Donotspillcoolantonahotengine.

clean,drinkable waterandDEX-COOL   coolantatthe
coolantrecovery tank,butbesurethecoolingsystem
iscoolbeforethisisdone.SeeEngineCoolant     on
page 6‑26 formoreinformation.
Notice: Thisvehiclehasaspecific   coolantfill
procedure. Failuretofollowthisprocedure  could
causetheenginetooverheat   andbeseverely
damaged.
