Ifyourvehicleisequippedwithmemorymirrors, itis
capableofperforming theparktiltmirrorfeature.This
featureallowsthedriverandpassenger sidemirrorto
tilttoafactoryprogrammed position whenthevehicleis
inR(Reverse). Thisfeaturemaybeusefulinallowing
youtoviewthecurbwhenyouareparallel parking.
Aconvexmirrorcanmakethings,likeother
vehicles, lookfarther awaythantheyreallyare.
Ifyoucuttoosharplyintotherightlane,youcould
hitavehicleontheright.Checktheinsidemirror
orglanceoveryourshoulder beforechanging
lanes.
WhenthevehicleisshiftedoutofR(Reverse) and
eitherafive-second delayhasoccurred, ortheignition
isturnedtoLOCK/OFF,thedriverandpassenger side
mirrorwillreturntoitsoriginal position.
Thisfeaturecanbeenabled/disabled throughthe
DriverInformation Center(DIC).SeeDICVehicle

Thepassenger sidemirrorisconvexshaped.Aconvex
mirror's surfaceiscurvedsomorecanbeseenfromthe
driverseat.
