OILLIFEREMAINING
PARKINGASSIST
Ifthevehiclehasthisdisplay,itshowstheestimated oil
liferemaining. Ifyousee99%OILLIFEREMAINING on
thedisplay,thatmeansthat99%ofthecurrentoillife
remains.
IfyourvehiclehastheUltrasonic FrontandRear
ParkingAssist(UFRPA)system,thisdisplayallows
thesystemtobeturnedonoroff.Onceinthisdisplay,
presstheset/reset buttontoselectbetweenONorOFF.
IfyouchooseON,thesystemwillbeturnedon.Ifyou
chooseOFF,thesystemwillbeturnedoff.TheUFRPA
systemautomatically turnsbackonaftereachvehicle
start.WhentheUFRPAsystemisturnedoffandthe
vehicleisshiftedoutofP(Park),theDICwilldisplay
thePARKINGASSISTOFFmessageasareminder
thatthesystemhasbeenturnedoff.SeeDICWarnings
andMessages on page 4‑66 andUltrasonic Frontand
RearParkingAssist(UFRPA)on page 3‑40 formore
information.
Whentheoillifeisdepleted, theCHANGEENGINEOIL
SOONmessagewillappearonthedisplay.Youshould
changetheoilassoonaspossible. Inaddition tothe
engineoillifesystemmonitoring theoillife,additional
maintenance isrecommended intheMaintenance
Schedule inthismanual.SeeScheduled Maintenance
on page 7‑3 andEngineOilonpage6‑15.
Remember,youmustresettheOILLIFEyourselfafter
eachoilchange.Itwillnotresetitself. Also,becareful
nottoresettheOILLIFEaccidentally atanytimeother
thanwhentheoilhasjustbeenchanged. Itcannotbe
resetaccurately untilthenextoilchange.Toresetthe
engineoillifesystem,SeeEngineOilLifeSystem on
page 6‑18.Thedisplaywillshow100%whenthe
systemisreset.
