Low-SpeedDeactivation
Ifyourvehiclespeedfallsbelow32km/h(20mph)while
following avehicleahead,ACCwillbegintodisengage.
TheDriverAlertsymbolwillflashandthewarningbeep
willsound.ThedrivermusttakeactionsinceACCwill
notslowthevehicletoastop.
{WARNING:
Adaptive CruiseControlmaynotdetectand
reacttostationary  orslowmovingvehicles or
otherobjectsaheadofyou.Youcouldcrashinto
anobjectaheadofyou.DonotuseAdaptive
CruiseControlwhenapproaching  stationary or
slowmovingvehicles orotherobjects.
PassingaVehicle/ACCOverride
Toincrease speedtopassavehicle,   usethe
accelerator pedal.Whileyouaredoingthis,thesystem
willnotautomatically  applythebrakes.Amessagewill
appearontheDIC.SeeDICWarningsandMessages
on page 466.Onceyouremoveyourfootfromthe
accelerator pedal,ACCwillreturntonormaloperation
andbeabletoapplythebrakes,ifneeded.
