featureon.Whenthelockoutfeatureisturnedon,
thetrunkcannotbeunlockedwiththekeylessentry
transmitter orthetrunkreleasebuttonlocatednearthe
headlamp switchontheinstrument  panel.
Thesecurity lightis
locatedontheinstrument
panelcluster.
Ifthevaletlockoutfeatureisonitwillalsodisablethe
Universal HomeRemotetransmitter,ifequipped.
Lockingthegloveboxwithyourkeywillalsohelpto
secureyourvehicle.
SeeRemoteKeylessEntry(RKE)SystemOperation    on
page 3‑4 andTrunkon  page 3‑12 foradditional
information.
Toarmthesystem:
1. Openthedoor.
2.
Lockthedoorusingthepowerdoorlockswitch
withthedooropenortheRemoteKeylessEntry
(RKE)transmitter.Thesecurity  lightwillflash.
3.
Closeallthedoors.Thesecurity   lightwillcomeon
andstayonforapproximately   30seconds.
IfadoororthetrunkisopenedwithoutakeyoraRKE
transmitter thehornwillsoundandthelampswillflash
forabout30seconds.
