Alwaysdoasafetycheckfirst.SeeIfaTireGoesFlat
on page 6‑76.Donotremoveanyobjectsthathave
penetrated thetire.

Removethetiresealantandcompressor   kitfrom
itsstoragelocation.  SeeTireSealantand
Compressor KitStorageonpage6‑84.
Followthedirections  closelyforcorrectsealantusage.

Unwrapthesealant/air  hose(F)andthepower
plug(G).
Placethekitontheground.
Makesurethetirevalvestemispositioned    closeto
thegroundsothehosewillreachit.

Removethevalvestemcapfromtheflattireby
turningitcounterclockwise.
Attachthesealant/air  hose(F)ontothetirevalve
stem.Turnitclockwise  untilitistight.
Plugthepowerplug(G)intotheaccessory    power
outletinthevehicle.  Unplugallitemsfromother
accessory poweroutlets. SeeAccessory Power
Outlet(s) onpage4‑34.
Whenusingthetiresealantandcompressor    kit
duringcoldtemperatures,  warmthekitinaheated
environment for5minutes.Thiswillhelptoinflatethe
tirefaster.
Ifthevehiclehasanaccessory   poweroutlet,do
notusethecigarette  lighter.
Ifthevehicleonlyhasacigarette    lighter,usethe
cigarette lighter.
Donotpinchthepowerplugcordinthedooror
window.
