Oncetworemotestartsorasinglestartwithatime
extension havebeenused,thevehiclemustbestarted
withtheignition keybeforeyoucanusetheremotestart
featureagain.
Ifthevehicleisleftrunningitwillautomatically shut
offafter10minutesunlessatimeextension has
beendone.
Theremotevehiclestartfeaturewillnotoperateifthe
keyisintheignition, thehoodisnotclosed,orifthere
isanemission controlsystemmalfunction.

Theenginewillturnoffduringaremotevehiclestartif
thecoolanttemperature getstoohigh,ortheoil

Yourvehiclewasshippedfromthefactorywiththe
remotevehiclestartsystemenabled. Thesystem
maybedisabled throughtheDriverInformation

information.
Theremotevehiclestartfeatureprovides twoseparate
starts,eachwith10minutesofenginerunning, orit
provides onestartwith10minutesofenginerunning
thatmaybeextended 10moreminutes. Ifyoupress
andreleasethetransmitter lockbuttonandthenpress
andholdtheremotestartbuttonontheRKEtransmitter
againbeforethefirst10minutesofenginerunningtime
hasexpired, 10minutesareaddedtotheremaining
minutes.Forexample, ifthelockbuttonandthen
theremotestartbuttonsarepressedagainafter
fiveminutesoftheengineruntime,10minutesare
addedandyounowhave15minutesofenginerunning.
Theaddedtenminutesareconsidered asecondremote
vehiclestart.

RemoteStartReady
Ifyourvehicledoesnothavetheremotevehicle
startfeature, itmayhavetheremotestartready
feature. Thisfeatureallowsyourdealertoaddthe
manufacturer's remotevehiclestartfeature. Seeyour
dealerifyouwouldliketoaddthemanufacturer's
remotevehiclestartfeaturetoyourvehicle.
