theft-deterrent systemprogrammed inthekey.Afault
hasbeendetected inthesystemwhichmeansthatthe
systemisdisabledanditisnotprotecting thevehicle.
Thevehicleusuallyrestarts; however,youmaywantto
takethevehicletoyourdealerbeforeturningoffthe

Thismessagedisplays iftherehasbeenaproblem
detected withtheStabiliTraksystem.
Onvehicles withtheTirePressure MonitorSystem
(TPMS),thismessagedisplays ifapartontheTPMS
isnotworkingproperly.Thetirepressure lightalso
flashesandthenremainsonduringthesameignition
cycle.SeeTirePressure Light on page 4‑55 .Several
conditions maycausethismessagetoappear.SeeTire
Pressure MonitorOperation on page 6‑63 formore
information. Ifthewarningcomesonandstayson,
theremaybeaproblemwiththeTPMS,seeyour
dealer.
Ifthismessagecomesonwhileyouaredriving, pull
offtheroadassoonaspossible andstopcarefully.
Tryresetting thesystembyturningtheignition offthen
backon.Ifthismessagestillstaysonorcomesbackon
againwhileyouaredriving, yourvehicleneedsservice.
