Theclimatecontrolsystemusestheinformation
fromthesesensorstomaintainyourcomfortsetting
byadjusting theoutlettemperature, fanspeed,and
theairdelivery mode.Thesystemmayalsosupply
coolerairtothesideofthevehiclefacingthesun.
Therecirculation modewillalsobeusedasneeded
tomaintaincooloutlettemperatures.
OutletAdjustment
Forthefrontoutlets, usethethumbwheel locatedbelow
eachoutlettochangethedirection oftheairflow.Use
thethumbwheel locatednexttotheoutletstoshutthe
airflowortoopentheoutletsandre-direct theair.
Fortherearoutlets, slidetheleverleftorrightandupor
downtochangethedirection oftheairflow.
Thereisalsoanexterior temperature sensorlocated
behindthefrontgrille. Thissensorreadstheoutsideair
temperature andhelpsmaintainthetemperature inside
thevehicle. Anycoveronthefrontofthevehiclecould
causeafalsereadinginthedisplayed temperature.

Clearawayanyice,snoworleavesfromtheair
inletsatthebaseofthewindshield thatmayblock
theflowofairintoyourvehicle.
Inordertopreventfalsetemperature readings at
startup, thedisplayed temperature willnotchange
untilthefollowing occurs:
