Thereisalsoaninterior
temperature sensor
locatednexttothe
steering wheelthat
measures thetemperature
oftheairinsidethe
vehicle.
Theclimatecontrolsystemusestheinformation
fromthesesensorstomaintainyourcomfortsetting
byadjusting theoutlettemperature,  fanspeed,and
theairdelivery  mode.Thesystemmayalsosupply
coolerairtothesideofthevehiclefacingthesun.
Therecirculation modewillalsobeusedasneeded
tomaintaincooloutlettemperatures.
OutletAdjustment
Forthefrontoutlets,  usethethumbwheel  locatedbelow
eachoutlettochangethedirection   oftheairflow.Use
thethumbwheel locatednexttotheoutletstoshutthe
airflowortoopentheoutletsandre-direct    theair.
Fortherearoutlets,  slidetheleverleftorrightandupor
downtochangethedirection   oftheairflow.
Thereisalsoanexterior   temperature sensorlocated
behindthefrontgrille.  Thissensorreadstheoutsideair
temperature andhelpsmaintainthetemperature  inside
thevehicle. Anycoveronthefrontofthevehiclecould
causeafalsereadinginthedisplayed    temperature.
OperationTips
.
Clearawayanyice,snoworleavesfromtheair
inletsatthebaseofthewindshield    thatmayblock
theflowofairintoyourvehicle.
Inordertopreventfalsetemperature   readings at
startup, thedisplayed temperature willnotchange
untilthefollowing  occurs:

Useofnon-GMapproved  hooddeflectors may
adversely affecttheperformance ofthesystem.

Vehiclespeedisabove16km/h(10mph)for
Keepthepathunderthefrontseatsclearof
objectstohelpcirculate  theairinsideofyour
vehiclemoreeffectively.
