Whenreplacing thefuelcap,turnitclockwise   untilit
clicks.Makesurethecapisfullyinstalled.    The
diagnostic systemcandetermine ifthefuelcaphas
beenleftofforimproperly   installed. Thiswouldallow
fueltoevaporate  intotheatmosphere. SeeMalfunction
Indicator Lamponpage455.
{WARNING:
Ifafirestartswhileyouarerefueling,    donot
removethenozzle.Shutofftheflowoffuelby
shuttingoffthepumporbynotifying    thestation
attendant. Leavetheareaimmediately.
TheTIGHTENGASCAPmessagedisplays   onthe
DriverInformation Center(DIC)ifthefuelcapisnot
properly installed. SeeDICWarningsandMessages  on
page 466 formoreinformation.
Notice: Ifyouneedanewfuelcap,besuretoget
therighttype.Yourdealercangetoneforyou.
Ifyougetthewrongtype,itmaynotfitproperly.
