TractionControlSystem(TCS)
Thetraction controlsystemlimitswheelspin.
Thesystemturnsonautomatically   everytimethe
vehicleisstarted.
TheTirePressureMonitor
alertsyouwhena
significant reduction in
pressure occursinoneor
moreofthevehicle’ stires
byilluminating thelowtire
pressure warninglighton
theinstrument cluster.
Toturnofftraction  control, pressandreleaseiin
.
frontoftheshiftlever.Filluminates    andthe
appropriate DICmessageisdisplayed.  SeeDIC

Pressandreleasethebuttonagaintoturnon
traction control.
Ifthewarninglightcomeson,stopassoonaspossible
andinflatethetirestotherecommended    pressure
shownonthetireloadinginformation   labellocatedon
thedriversidecenterpillar(Bpillar).    SeeLoadingthe
Vehicleon page 5‑18.Thewarninglightwillremainon
untilthetirepressure  iscorrected.

StabiliTrak®
ThevehiclemayhavetheStabiliTrak   systemthat
assistswithdirectional  controlofthevehicleindifficult
drivingconditions. Thesystemturnsonautomatically
everytimethevehicleisstarted.   Thesystemcannotbe
turnedoff.
