brieflywhentheengineis
started.

theengine.
Ifitdoesnot,havethevehicleserviced    byyourdealer.
Ifthesystemisworkingnormally   theindicator lightthen
goesoff.
Ifitdoesnot,havethevehicleserviced    byyourdealer.
Ifthesystemisworkingnormally   theindicator lightwill
thengooff.
IftheABSlightstayson,turntheignition     off.Ifthelight
comesonwhiledriving,  stopassoonasitissafely
possible andturntheignitionoff.Thenstarttheengine
againtoresetthesystem.IftheABSlightstayson,
orcomesonagainwhiledriving,   thevehicleneeds
service. Iftheregularbrakesystemwarninglightisnot
on,thevehiclestillhasbrakes,butnotantilock     brakes.
Iftheregularbrakesystemwarninglightisalsoon,the
vehicledoesnothaveantilock   brakesandthereisa
problemwiththeregularbrakes.SeeBrakeSystem
WarningLightonpage4‑51.
Ifitstayson,orcomesonwhiledriving,     theremaybe
aproblemwiththetraction   controlsystemandthe
vehicleneedsservice.  Whenthiswarninglightison,
thesystemwillnotlimitwheelspin.
Ifthetraction  controlsystemwarninglightcomeson
andstaysonwhenthesystemisturnedon,thevehicle
needsservice. SeeTractionControlSystem(TCS)   on
page 5‑6 formoreinformation.
