Atthesametimeamessagetocheckthepressure ina
specific tireappearsontheDriverInformation Center
(DIC)display.Thelowtirepressurewarninglightand
theDICwarningmessagecomeonateachignition
cycleuntilthetiresareinflated tothecorrect inflation
pressure. UsingtheDIC,tirepressure levelscanbe
viewedbythedriver.Foradditional information and

TirePressureMonitorOperation
ThisvehiclemayhaveaTirePressure MonitorSystem
(TPMS).TheTPMSisdesignedtowarnthedriverwhen
alowtirepressurecondition exists. TPMSsensorsare
mountedontoeachtireandwheelassembly,excluding
thesparetireandwheelassembly.TheTPMSsensors
monitortheairpressureinthevehicle's tiresand
transmits thetirepressure readings toareceiver
locatedinthevehicle.
Thelowtirepressurewarninglightmaycomeonincool
weatherwhenthevehicleisfirststarted, andthenturn
offasyoustarttodrive.Thiscouldbeanearlyindicator
thattheairpressureinthetire(s) aregettinglowand
needtobeinflated totheproperpressure.
Whenalowtirepressure
condition isdetected, the
TPMSilluminates thelow
tirepressurewarninglight
locatedontheinstrument
panelcluster.
