thanyourvehicle.
IncreasingSetSpeedWhileUsingACC
Therearetwowaystoincrease thesetspeed:

Usetheaccelerator togettothehigherspeed.
PresstheSET–buttonandthenreleasethebutton
andtheaccelerator pedal.Thevehiclewillnow
cruiseatthehigherspeed.
Theonsymbolislocatedonthedisplayatthetopofthe
instrument paneltotherightofthedriver.Whentheon
symbolislitonthedisplay,itindicates thatACCis
active.

Pressthe+RESbutton. Holditthereuntilthe
desiredsetspeedisdisplayed ontheDriver
Information Center(DIC),thenreleasetheswitch.
Toincrease thesetspeedinverysmallamounts,
movetheswitchbrieflyto+RES.Eachtimethisis
done,thesetspeedincreases by1km/h(1mph).
AmessageontheDICwillalsodisplaywhenACCis
set.SeeDICWarningsandMessages onpage4‑66.
Keepinmindspeedlimits,surrounding trafficspeeds,
andweatherconditions whenadjusting yoursetspeed.
IfthevehicleisinACCwhenthetraction controlsystem
beginstolimitwheelspin,theACCwillautomatically
disengage. SeeTractionControlSystem(TCS) on

page 5‑6 andStabiliTrak System on page 5‑5.
Whenroadconditions allowyoutosafelyuseitagain,
theACCcanbeturnedbackon.
Yourvehiclewillnotreachthesetspeeduntilthe
systemdetermines thereisnotavehicleinfrontofyou.
Atthatpoint,yourvehiclespeedwillincrease totheset
speed.
