Tocheckthepowersteering   fluid:
Todetermine whatkindoffluidtouse,see
Recommended FluidsandLubricants on page  7‑9.
Alwaysusetheproperfluid.

Turnthekeyoffandlettheenginecompartment
cooldown.
Notice: Useoftheincorrect  fluidmaydamagethe
vehicleandthedamagesmaynotbecoveredbythe
vehicle's warranty.Alwaysusethecorrectfluid
listedinRecommended  FluidsandLubricants  on
page 7‑9.

Wipethecapandthetopofthereservoir     clean.
Unscrewthecapandwipethedipstick    witha
cleanrag.

Replacethecapandcompletely   tightenit.
Removethecapagainandlookatthefluidlevel
onthedipstick.
WindshieldWasherFluid
WhattoUse
ThelevelshouldbeattheFULLCOLDmark.
Ifnecessary,addonlyenoughfluidtobringthelevelup
tothemark.
Whenthevehicleneedswindshield   washerfluid,be
suretoreadthemanufacturer's   instructions beforeuse.
Ifthevehiclewillbeoperating   inanareawherethe
temperature mayfallbelowfreezing,  useafluidthathas
sufficient protection againstfreezing.
