To remove the child from the built -in child
sea t:
1.
Squeeze the tabs on the top and bottom of
the chest clip and pull the halves ap art to
open the chest clip. Refer back to Figu re 8.

Press the release bu tton on the crotch safety
belt bu ckle.
Slide the shou lder belts off the child ’s
shou lders and rem ove the child . Refer back
to Figu re 6.
To st ow the built -in child sea t:
When the bu ilt-in child seat is not in use, it can
be stow ed so that an ad ult may use the center of
the rear seat or the rear seatback can be fold ed
dow n.

Retu rn the child seat cushion to the upright
position.
2.
Make sure shou lder belts are in the center of
the back of the child seat. Attach the cushion
retention clip. Fold the child seat up into the
seatback while tu cking the top edge of the
child seat und er the flap . See Figu re 11.
3.
Press firm ly in the center of the child seat to
keep in the stow ed position. You will not be
able to unlock the rear seatback if the
bu ilt-in child seat is not stow ed prop erly.
