Tow ing a manu al transaxle vehicle behind
another vehicle, such as a Recreational Vehicle
(RV), is allow ed only if tow ed in a forw ard
direction with the front wheels on the grou nd .
This is the only way to tow behind an RV with
the wheels on the grou nd withou t dam age to the
transaxle.
When tow ing a vehicle with a manu al transaxle
withou t a front wheel dolly, the gear selector
shou ld be in neu tral.
RWARN ING
Never use a tow bar that attach es to the
bumper when you tow you r veh icle. This
could damage the bumper and cause an
accid ent.
Trailer Tow ing
We do not ad vise using you r vehicle for tow ing
a trailer.
Limitin g Your Veh icle’s Load
The load that you ad d to you r vehicle must not
exceed the maxim um load stated on the tire
inform ation decal attached to the face of the
right rear door pillar.
To figu re the weight of you r vehicle’s load , ad d
the weights of:
❑the driver and passengers
❑
luggage and any other item s that you put in
you r vehicle
❑
the weight of any equ ipment that has been
ad ded to you r vehicle since it was delivered
to you r dealer
