How to insert a disc and begin pla y
Insert one disc, lab el sid e up into the disc
opening. When inserted , the disc au tom atically
load s into the unit and play starts at the
beginning of the first track (selection).
When the disc reaches the end , the disc player
au tom atically retu rns to the beginning of the
disc and resu mes playing.
NOTE: Once a disc is inserted , the disc
opening is secu red to preven t the
accid ental insertion of a secon d disc.
NOTE: The CD player has heat protection
circu itry to protect the laser diod e. If
the tem peratu re of the player reach es
167˚F
(75˚C), the heat detection circu it
will shut off the player and “TO O
HOT” will scroll in the disp lay for
approxim ately five secon ds (rad io will
resu me playin g). When the tem peratu re
retu rns to norm al operatin g ran ge, the
CD player will again be operation al.
How to st op and rest art the CD pla yer
When a disc is load ed, the unit au tom atically
enters the play mod e and the play ind icator a
illuminates. To stop tem porarily, press the
“PLAY/ STOP” bu tton or the “AM/ FM” bu tton.
The stop ind icator X in the display illuminates
and operation retu rns to the rad io mod e. To
resu me CD play, press the “PLAY/ STOP”
bu tton once again.
NOTE: If the ign ition key is turned OFF
durin g play and then is set to the ON
or ACCESSO RY position , the CD
player will resu me playin g in the mode
it was in when ign ition was turned off.
