other emission control parts continu e to work

❑Avoid ru nning ou t of fuel.

Do not tu rn off the ignition while you r
vehicle is moving, esp ecially at high speed s.

Have the services listed in the Maintenance
Schedule and Record booklet perform ed
accord ing to the specified sched ule. The
sched uled maintenance services are requ ired
becau se they are consid ered essential to the
life and perform ance of you r vehicle and to
its emissions system .
In general, maintenance, rep lacem ent, or service
of the emissions control devices or system s in
you r new Ford Motor Com pany vehicle or
engine may be perform ed at you r exp ense by
any au tom otive rep air establishm ent or
ind ivid ual using au tom otive parts equ ivalent to
those which you r vehicle or engine was
originally equ ipped.
If other than Ford or Motorcraft or Ford
au thorized rem anu factu red parts are used for
maintenance, rep lacem ent, or for the service of
com ponents affecting emissions control, the
ow ner shou ld be assu red that such parts are
warranted by their manu factu rer to be
equ ivalent to genu ine Ford Motor Com pany
parts in perform ance and durability. Please
consu lt you r warranty inform ation booklet for
com plete warranty inform ation.
