Heatin g Only System (With out air
condition ing)
You can heat the insid e of you r vehicle, defrost
the wind shield , or use the outsid e air vents by
using the climate controls on the center of the
instru ment panel.
The levers that control the stan dard heatin g system
Turning on the hea t
To heat the insid e of you r vehicle
1.
Move the function selector lever to PAN EL,
PN L/ FLR, FLOOR, FLR/ DEF or V
(Defrost).
When PAN EL is selected , air is directed out
of the panel registers.
When PN L/ FLR is selected , air is directed
ou t of the panel registers and the floor
ducts.
When FLOOR is selected , most of the air is
directed throu gh the floor ducts, and a little
air is also directed at the wind shield and
sid e wind ow s to help prevent fogging.
When FLR/ DEF is selected, air is directed
through the floor ducts and the defroster outlets.
When V (Defrost) is selected , air is directed
ou t of the defroster ou tlets.
