If the blad es do not wipe prop erly, clean both
the wind shield and the wiper blad es. Use
und iluted wind shield washer solu tion or a mild
detergent. Rinse thorou ghly with clear water. Do
not use fuel, kerosene, paint thinner, or other
solvents to clean you r wiper blad es. These will
dam age you r blad es.
Insp ect the wiper arm pivots on a regu lar basis
to ensu re that the wiper arm s move freely.
Lubricate the pivot points if necessary.

To make reaching the wiper blad es easy, sim ply
tu rn the ignition switch to the ON position and
tu rn the wipers on. Wait for them to reach a
vertical position and tu rn the ignition to OFF.
Do not move the wipers manu ally. Manu ally
moving the wipers across the wind shield may
dam age them .
