This warning light and chim e rem ind you in tw o
ways to fasten you r safety belt. If you do not
fasten the safety belt before you tu rn the ignition
key to ON , the chim e sou nd s for four (4) to
eight (8) second s. Also, each tim e you tu rn the
ignition key to ON , the warning light com es on
for one to tw o minu tes to rem ind you to fasten
you r com bination lap and shou lder belt.

The warning light for the brakes can show tw o
things — that the parking brake is not fully
released , or that the brake fluid level is low in
the master cylind er reservoir. If the fluid level is
low , the brake system shou ld be checked by
you r dealer or a qu alified service technician.
This light com es on when you tu rn the ignition
key to START, bu t it norm ally goes off shortly
after the engine starts and you release the
parking brake. If the light stays on or com es on
after you have released the parking brake fully,
have the hyd rau lic brake system serviced .
