Your vehicle is equ ipped with a dual locking
mod e retractor on the front lap belt (U.S.
vehicles) or the lap belt portion of the front
lap / shou lder belt (Canad ian vehicles). The lap
belt will have the follow ing label:
The au tom atic locking mod e must be used when
installing a child seat in the front passenger seat.
If you choose to install a forw ard -facing child
safety seat in a front seat with a dual locking
mod e retractor:

Move the front passenger seat as far back as
possible.
Position the child seat in the front passenger
seat of the vehicle.
