notch in the rear trim panels near the liftgate
opening.

The cover may cause injury in a sudden
stop or accid ent if it is left lyin g loose in
the veh icle or if it is not secu rely
installed . Therefore, the cover should
eith er be secu rely installed or rem oved
from the veh icle. To be secu rely installed ,
the cover must be attach ed to the brack ets
and to the teth ered safety clip s.
The shade
The shad e is a wind -up typ e, just like a wind ow
shad e. Over tim e the shad e may lose its spring
tension. If this hap pens, you can easily rew ind
the shad e with the help of another person.
