To ventilate you r vehicle using the vents:

Be sure that the A/ C is off.
Move the function selector lever to PAN EL.
When PAN EL is selected , outsid e air is
directed ou t the instru ment panel registers.

Move the tem peratu re control lever to the
blu e (cool) area or to the desired
tem peratu re.
Set the fan at the desired speed .
Bi-level opera tion:
1.
Move the function selector lever to the
PN L/ FLR position.

Turn on the air cond itioning, if desired .
Move the tem peratu re control lever to the
desired tem peratu re.
NOTE: The tem peratu re of the air coming
from the panel ven ts will be cooler
than the tem peratu re of the air coming
from the floor ven ts. The differen ce in
tem peratu res can be controlled by
adjustin g the tem peratu re control lever.
The maxim um differen ce in
tem peratu res will occur when the
tem peratu re control lever is in the
center ran ge (betw een the red [warm ]
and blue [cool] position s). This featu re
is esp ecially usefu l on cool yet sunny
days, when the veh icle is warm ed by
the sun yet you desire warm er air at
you r feet.

Set the fan at the desired speed .
