The prop er position of the fron t lap safety belt
RWARN ING
The lap belts should fit snugly and as low
as possib le arou nd the hips, not arou nd
the waist.
To operate the motorized shou lder belt:
1.
Get into you r vehicle and close the door.
Check to be sure the shou lder belt is latched
to the emergency release bu ckle.
2.
If it is not latched , pull the shou lder belt
from the retractor and bu ckle it to the
emergency release bu ckle. Note the tw ist in
the shou lder belt as in Figu res 1 and 2.
3.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
A motor cau ses the shou lder belt to slid e along
its track from the A-p illar to the B-pillar until it
locks in place.
