Daytim e  Running   Ligh t  System
(Ca na dia n vehicles   only)
The  Daytim e  Running   Light   (DRL) system   tu rns
the  high   beam  head lam ps  on,  with   a  red uced
light  output,    when:
❑
The  head lam p  system   is in  the  OFF  position,
and
❑The  vehicle  is  ru nning,   and
❑
The  vehicle  has   a fully   released   parking
brake.
The  high  beam   ind icator  light   on  the  instru ment
cluster   will  not  be  on.
RWARN ING
The  Daytim e  Running   Ligh t  (DRL)  system
will  not  illu minate   the  tail  lam ps  and
park ing  lam ps.  Turn  on  you r head  lam ps
at  dusk.  Failu re  to  do so  may  resu lt  in  a
collision  .
