For best resu lts, plug the heater in at least three
hou rs before you start you r vehicle. Using the
heater for longer than three hou rs will not
dam age the engine, so you can plug it in at
night to start you r vehicle the follow ing
morning.

a Collision
The Fuel Pump Shut-off Switch
If the engine cranks bu t does not start or does
not start after a collision, the fuel pump shu t-off
switch may have been triggered . The shu t-off
switch is a device intend ed to stop the fuel
pump when you r vehicle has been involved in a
substantial jolt.
Once the shu t-off switch is triggered , you must
reset the switch by hand before you can start
you r vehicle. The fuel pump shu t-off switch is
located behind the right rear trim panel in the
tru nk. You can reach the switch to reset it
throu gh the access hole.
