Re-bu ckle  belt.  Forcibly  tilt  the   child  seat
from  sid e  to  sid e and  also   tu g it  forw ard  to
see  if it  is  held   secu rely in  place.   See Figu re
6.

If excessive   movem  ent  occurs,  rep eat  step s
throu gh  7  or  prop erly  install   child  seat   in
RWARN ING
Once  you  have   attach ed  the  safety  seat,
test  the  seat  before   you  place  the  child   in
it.  Tilt  the  seat  from  sid e to  sid e. Also  try
to  tug  the  seat  forw ard . Check  to  see  if
the  belt  hold s  the  seat  in  place.  If  the  lap
belt  is  too  loose,  tigh ten  it  by  movin g  the
lock ing  clip , or put   the  safety  seat  in
anoth er  seat  and  test  it  again . If  the  safety
seat  is  not  anchored   prop erly,  the  risk   of a
child  bein g  injured   in  a  collision   or
sudden   stop  greatly   increases.   Reclin ing
seatb acks  should   be  in  the  most  uprigh  t
position   for  use  with  child   safety  seats.
