Rep ortin g Safety Defects
(U.S. only)
If you believe that you r vehicle has a defect
which could cau se a crash or could cau se injury
or death, you shou ld immediately inform the
National Highw ay Traffic Safety Ad ministration
(NHTSA) in ad dition to notifying Ford Motor
Com pany.
If NHTSA receives sim ilar com plaints, it may
open an investigation, and if it find s that a
safety defect exists in a grou p of vehicles, it may
ord er a recall and rem edy cam paign. How ever,
NHTSA cannot becom e involved in ind ivid ual
problem s betw een you , you r dealer, or Ford
Motor Com pany.
