To rew ind the shad e:

Remove the shad e from its sid e mounting
brackets and take it ou t of you r vehicle.
To rem ove it from you r vehicle, detach the
tethered mounting screw s from the trim panels
and push one end of the tension rod tow ard the
opposite sid e of the vehicle until the shad e can
be rem oved from the mounting clips.

Extend the shad e fully. Make sure the
smooth grain sid e is facing you (see Figu re
1).

Wrap the vinyl arou nd the roller tu be tw o
tim es in the direction show n in Figu re 1.
Tuck the edges of the vinyl insid e the end
cap with each wrap .
Fold the edges of the vinyl tow ard the
center. Make sure the edges of the vinyl
clear the end cap slots (see Figu re 2). Use
masking tap e or a ru bber band to hold the
vinyl on the left sid e of the roller tu be.

While hold ing the vinyl and roller tu be as
show n in Figu re 2, push the right end cap
(marked with an “R”) abou t 1/ 4 inch to
disengage the clutch.
Wind the shad e 14 revolu tions in the
direction show n in Figu re 2. (The wind
direction is also marked on the end cap .)
