Use only pow er steering fluid that meets Ford
Specification ESW-M2C33-F, such as Motorcraft
Typ e “F” Au tom atic Transm ission and Pow er
Steering Fluid.
If the pow er steering fluid is low , do not drive
you r vehicle for a long period of tim e before
ad ding fluid. This can dam age the pow er
steering pump.
Fuses, Fuse Links and Circu it
Break ers
Fuses, fuse links and circu it breakers protect
you r vehicle electrical system from overload ing.
If electrical parts in you r vehicle are not
working, the system may have been overload ed
and blow n a fuse, fuse link or trip ped a circu it
breaker. Before you rep lace or rep air any
electrical parts, check the ap prop riate circu it
protector.
The follow ing charts tell you which circu it
protector protects each electrical part of you r
vehicle. If a fuse or fuse link blow s, or a circu it
breaker opens a circu it, none of the parts of
you r vehicle that use the circu it will work. For
exam ple, if the RADIO fuse is blow n, the rad io
and rem ote control mirrors will not work. If the
rad io works, bu t the electric mirrors don’t work,
som ething is wrong with the mirrors.
NOTE: Fuse lin ks should only be rep aired by
you r dealer.
