Tip s for  Safe  Drivin  g
As  with  any   new  vehicle,   you rs may   drive   and
hand le  differently   from   you r previou  s  vehicle.
Use  care  until   you  becom e  accu stom ed to  its
variou s  featu res  and   driving   characteristics.
Op erate  you r  vehicle  within   reasonable    limits.
Sudden   acceleration,    deceleration,   tu rning,   or
combinations    of these   maneu vers   can  cau se a
vehicle  to  behave   differently    than  anticip  ated .
Extrem e  acceleration   can  cau se  the  front
wheels   to  spin,  perhap  s  resu lting  in  red uced
steering   control.
If you   do  not  have   anti-lock   brakes,  extrem  e
braking   can  cau se wheels   to  lock  and   slid e,
making   it  difficult   to control   the  direction    of
the  vehicle.   Use  the  ”squ eeze“  techniqu  e  by
pushing   on  the   brake  pedal   with   stead ily
increasing   force.  This  allow s  the  wheels   to
brake  yet   continu e  to  roll  so  that  you   may
steer  in  the  direction    you  want   to  travel.   If
you  lock  the  wheels,   release   the  brake   pedal
and  rep eat  the   squ eeze  techniqu e.
If you   abru ptly  release   the  accelerator    or
brake  hard   while   going  too   fast  arou nd  a
severe   curve,  you r  vehicle  may   change
direction.   Avoid   ap plication   of the   brakes,  if
possible.   If braking   is  necessary,   it  shou ld  be
done   by  using  the  ”squ  eeze“  techniqu  e
described   above.
