Dou ble check that the retractor is in the
au tom atic locking mod e. Try to pull more
belt ou t of the retractor, if you cannot, the
belt is in the au tom atic locking mod e.

Check to make sure that the child seat is
prop erly secu red prior to each use. If the lap
belt is not locked , rep eat step s 4 throu gh 7.
NOTE: When the safety belt is unbuckled and
allow ed to retract completely, the
retractor will switch to the veh icle
sen sitive (emergen cy) lock ing mode.
