Follow the child seat manu factu rer’s
instru ctions. Rou te the lap or lap / shou lder
belt throu gh the child seat and insert the belt
tongu e into the bu ckle until you hear and
feel the latch engage.
Be sure to follow the manu factu rer’s instru ctions
for belt rou ting.

Grasp the lap portion of the belt below the
child seat label. Pu ll upward until all of the
belt is extracted and a click is heard . At this
tim e, the lap belt retractor is in the
au tom atic locking mod e (child seat restraint
mod e).
