you r vehicle’s electrical system and may cau se
the instru mentation and / or convenience
prod ucts to have tem porary, abnorm al operation.
NOTE: Any clean er or polish that increases the
gloss (shine) of the upper part of the
instru ment panel should be avoid ed.
The dull fin ish in this area is to help
protect the driver from undesirab le
windshield reflection .
The Clim ate Con trol System s
Your vehicle has one of the follow ing climate
control system s:
❑Heating Only System
❑Heating and Air Cond itioning System
If you are not sure which system you r vehicle
has, see the diagram s on the follow ing pages.
The Con trols
The fan speed knob controls the volu me of air
circu lated in the vehicle. There are four fan
settings nu mbered 1 (low ) throu gh 4 (high) and
on OFF position.
Pu shing the A/ C bu tton (in the center of the fan
speed knob) tu rns on the air cond itioning
system , if equ ipped. The fan must be on for the
air cond itioning com pressor to operate. The
ind icator light, to the left of the fan speed knob,
will glow when the A/ C system is on.
The tem peratu re control lever may be ad justed
from cool air in the blu e range to warm air in
the red range.
