Move the function selector lever to the MAX
A/ C position.
When the function selector lever is in the
MAX A/ C position, cooled interior air is
recircu lated throu gh the system . This
position is more econom ical than continu ally
cooling ou tsid e air.
Set the fan at the desired speed .
If the insid e of you r vehicle is very warm ,
drive for a few minu tes with the wind ow s
dow n. This forces most of the hot, stale air
out of the vehicle and help s the air
cond itioning cool the vehicle faster.
Cooling your vehicle wit h out side air
Use any function selector lever position excep t
for MAX A/ C to cool you r vehicle with ou tsid e
air. Cooling you r vehicle in this way brings in
outsid e air and is qu ieter bu t less econom ical
than using recircu lated air.
To cool you r vehicle using outsid e air:

Press the A/ C bu tton.
Move the function control lever to PAN EL
or to the desired position.

Move the tem peratu re control lever to the
blu e (cool) area.
4.
Set the fan at the desired speed .
To vent ila te your vehicle wit h out side air
In mild weather, use the ou tsid e, cooler air to
ventilate the vehicle. You will get better fuel
econom y by not using the air cond itioning.
