❑Using the Au tom atic Mem ory Load featu re
If no stations are in memory preset, you can
activate the Auto Memory Load featu re by
pressing and hold ing the “AUTO PRESET”
bu tton for approxim ately three secon ds.
Au to Mem ory Load sets all memory bu ttons
in AM, FM1 and FM2 sequ entially by seeking
ou t the first six strong stations for the
resp ective band and storing them in memory
bu ttons 1-5. (FM2 will store the second set of
strong stations from the FM band .)
With Au to Mem ory Store, you can
continu ally set strong stations into you r
memory bu ttons withou t losing you r existing
memory presets, which is esp ecially hand y
while traveling. Your rad io will au tom atically
set you r memory bu ttons to the strong local
stations so you don’t have to continu ally
manu ally tu ne to existing stations.
Activate Au to Mem ory Store by pushing the
“AUTO PRESET” bu tton once. Your rad io
will set the first five strong stations of the
band you are in (AM, FM1 or FM2) into the
memory bu ttons. The display will show
“AUTO,” then ru n throu gh the frequ encies,
stop ping mom entarily on the stations being
set into the memory bu ttons. The rad io is
now in the “AUTO” mod e and the display
will show “AUTO” each tim e a preset is
activated .
NOTE: If there are few er than five stron g
station s in the freq uency band, the
rem ain ing unfilled button s will store
the last stron g station detected on the
band.
