au tom atic locking mod e. Try to pull more
belt ou t of the retractor. If you cannot, the
belt is in the au tom atic locking mod e. See
Figu re 8.

Check to make sure that the child seat is
prop erly secu red prior to each use. If the
retractor is not locked , rep eat step s 4
throu gh 7.
To rem ove the retractor from au tom atic lock
mod e, allow webbing to retract fully to its
stow ed position and the retractor will
au tom atically switch back to the vehicle sensitive
locking mod e for norm al ad ult usage.
