How to tune ra dio st ations
There are fou r ways for you to tu ne in a
particu lar station. You can manu ally locate the
station using the “SCAN / TUN E” bu tton,
“SEEK” the station, “SCAN ” to the station or
select the station by using the memory bu ttons,
which you can set to any desired frequ ency.
These four method s are described below .

Using the “SCAN / TUN E” bu tton to manu ally
tu ne
You can change the frequ ency up or dow n
one increm ent at a tim e (FM changes in
increm ents of 200kH z; AM changes in
increm ents of 10kH z) by first pressing the
“SCAN / TUN E” bu tton tw ice (display show s
“TUN E”), then — with in approxim ately five
secon ds —pressing and releasing either the
top a or bottom b half of the “SEEK”
bu tton. To change frequ encies qu ickly, press
and hold down either the top or bottom half
of the “SEEK” bu tton. While you are
manu ally tuning, the display will show a
blinking “M”.
Manu al tu ning ad justs you r rad io to any
allow able broad cast frequ ency, whether or
not a station is present on that frequ ency.

❑Using the “SEEK” function
This featu re on you r rad io allow s you to
au tom atically select listenable stations up or
dow n the frequ ency band . Press the top a
half of the “SEEK” bu tton to select the next
listenable station up the frequ ency band .
Press the bottom b half of the bu tton to
select the next listenable station dow n the
frequ ency band . By pressing and hold ing the
bu tton, listenable stations can be passed over
to reach the desired station.
