The cover may cause injury in a sudden
stop or accid ent if it is not secu rely
installed . Therefore, the cover should
eith er be secu rely installed or rem oved
from the veh icle. To be secu rely installed ,
the cover must be attach ed to the brack ets
and the two cord s must be fasten ed.
To install the luggage com partm ent cover:
1.
Raise the hatchback to the fully open
position.
2.
Place the cargo cover on the rear trim panels
so that the hinge pins rest in front of the
mounting clips behind the seatback.

Pu sh the hinge pins into the mounting clips
on the rear trim panel.
Connect the cord loop s to the pins in the
sid es of the hatchback.
Close the hatchback.

To preven t the possib ility of injuries, the
fasten ers for the cargo area cover must be
prop erly attach ed to the mountin g clip s on
the rear trim panels.
