Dialin g Usin g the Cellu lar Phone Keyp ad
Turning confirm ation prom pts off will stop the system
from confirm ing you r choices (e.g., the UConnect sys-
tem will not rep eat a phone nu mber before you dial it).
You can dial a phone nu mber with you r cellular phone 3
keyp ad and still use the UConnect system (while dial-
ing via the cell phone keyp ad, the user must exercise
caution and take precau tionary safety measu res). By
dialing a nu mber with you r paired Bluetooth™ cellular
phone, the audio will be played throu gh you r vehicle’s
audio system . The UConnect system will work the sam e
as if you dial the nu mber using voice recognition.

Press the “Phone” button to begin.
After the ЉRead yЉ prom pt and the follow ing beep , say
ЉSetup Confirm ations.Љ The UConnect system will
play the current confirm ation prom pt statu s and you
will be given the choice to change it.
NOTE: Certain brand s of mobile phones do not send the
dial ring to the UConnect system to play it on the
vehicle audio system , so you will not hear it. Und er this
