will sou nd when tire pressu re is low in one or more of the
four active road tires. In addition, the Electronic Vehicle
Inform ation Center (EVIC) will display a grap hic show -
ing the pressu re valu es of each tire with the low tire
pressu re valu es flashing.
Shou ld this occur, you shou ld stop as soon as possible,
and inflate the tires with low pressu re (those flashing in
the EVIC grap hic) to the vehicle’s recom mend ed cold
placard pressu re valu e. Once the system receives the
updated tire pressu res, the system will autom atically
update, the grap hic display in the EVIC will stop flash-
ing, and the Tire Pressu re Monitoring Telltale Light will
turn off. The vehicle may need to be driven for up to 10
minu tes above 15 mph (25 km/ h) in ord er for the TPMS
to receive this inform ation.
Check TPM S Warn ing
When a system fault is detected , the Tire Pressu re Moni-
toring Telltale Light will flash on and off for 75 second s
and then rem ain on solid . The system fault will also
sou nd a chim e. In addition, the EVIC will display a
ЉCHECK TPM SYSTEMЉ message for 3 second s and then
display dashes (- -) in place of the pressu re valu e to
ind icate which sensor is not being received .
