THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE STARTING YOUR VEHICLE
LIFTGATE
To open the liftgate, pull up (squ eeze) on the hand le and
lift.
NOTE: Use the power door lock switch on either front
door trim panel or the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transm itter to lock and unlock the liftgate. The manu al
door locks on the doors and the driver’s door lock
cylind er will not lock and unlock the liftgate.
WARN ING!
Drivin g with the liftgate open can allow poison ous
exhaust gases into you r veh icle. You and you r pas-
sen gers could be injured by these fumes. Keep the
liftgate closed when you are operatin g the veh icle.
